I am a life coach that specializes in Executive Function support for middle school and high school aged teens that are having trouble with school or home life motivation—including homeschooled students!

I also work with teens through academic tutoring, social skill building, and vocational planning.

Maybe your child feels stuck. Maybe your child lacks purpose. Or maybe your child is just overwhelmed with daily tasks. I can help you and your student evaluate routines and create a plan to refocus their mindset.

I can help keep your child on track through realistic goal setting, project motivation, and useful techniques that lead to habit changes.

Let’s work together to get your child refocused, motivated, and driven to reach their full potential so that they can feel EMPOWERED everyday!

What is Executive Function?

Executive function(EF) is simply the ability to get stuff done. To “execute” means to complete a task. Students with ADHD, learning disabilities, Dyslexia, or just teenage “overwhelm” can struggle with executive function skills and getting tasks completed at school or at home.  Experiencing this type of struggle daily can result in failing grades, decreased motivation to participate in everyday events, and a negative attitude about school and life. Feelings of overwhelm can lead to anxiety and possibly depression. With technology dependence and desires for instant gratification plagueing the youth of today, the number of students struggling with executive function skills grows every year.

As an EF coach, I help students learn the systems needed to better manage classwork, homework, organization, and project completion. I help students build new habits that lead to more confidence, more motivation, and more empowerment within their daily lives.

Invest in your child’s relationship with

self-motivation.

Self-motivation drives people to keep going even in the face of set-backs, to take up opportunities, and to show commitment to what you want to achieve. Refocusing and learning new habits can help your child be more self-motivated at home and at school.

Improve your relationship with each other.

Life-long skills in areas such as critical thinking and problem-solving, planning, decision making and executing tasks are imperative. When we suffer guilt or failure in these skills, our relationships can easily be harmed. By improving these skills you can say good-bye to arguing about missing school work, unfinished chores, and other behaviors that stem from frustration.
